RV Skirting
Stay warmer this winter and reduce your heat costs. Idaho Canvas Products offers an economical and easy way to skirt your RV, camper or trailer. At Idaho Canvas Products we manufacture generic RV skirting panels from a heavy, 18 oz, polyester reinforced vinyl that is extremely durable and strong. Our vinyl fabric is tear resistant and the edges will not fray. It can easily be cut and folded around steps and pipes.
Idaho Canvas Products provides generic, finished panels and fasteners only. We do not stock skirting for specific RV models. You must determine the correct panels sizes you need by accurately measuring your RV. You must determine the best location for mounting the fasteners onto your RV. Each RV is different and the installation of the skirting may require additional hardware which you can purchase locally. After your skirting is installed, strips of vinyl can be glued to the vinyl to bridge any gaps between panels to provide complete closure of the skirting using a HH-66 Vinyl Fabric Joint / Patch Kit. Glue in Vinyl Zipper Splices are available which allow you to unzip/separate panels if needed.
RV skirting can be installed by one person. Three choices of top attachment are available: Twist locks, snaps, or hook and loop (Velcro). Each finished skirt panel has a 5" pocket hem sewn along the bottom for weight inserts. Rope stake loops are also placed into the skirting every 5' along the bottom. Fabric color choices available are: White, Black, Gray, and Tan. Height choices available are: 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", 54", 60", 66", 72". Length choices available are: 10', 15', 20', 25', 30', 35', 40'.

The male component of the twist lock fastener (shown above right) must be installed on the trailer, in a solid location, with small screws or rivets. The male component of the twist lock fastener sticks out 3/4". Make sure you have clearance for the twist lock fasteners when skirting your slideout. The female components of the twist lock fastener come pre-installed in the cover at approximately every 20". All twistlock fasteners have corrosion resistant nickel finish and rust-resistant brass springs.
Snap Fastener
The male component of the snap fastener (shown above right) must be installed in the trailer, in a solid location. The male component of the snap fastener sticks out 1/4". Make sure you have clearance for the snap fastener when skirting your slideout. The female components of the snap fastener come pre-installed in the cover at approximately every 20". All snap fasteners have corrosion resistant nickel finish and rust-resistant brass clips.
Hook and Loop Fastener
The sticky back, hook component of the fastener must be installed on the trailer, in a smooth, flat, clean location.
The loop component of the fastener comes pre-sewn on the cover.
Bottom Pocket Hem for Weights
5" open pocket hem sewn along the bottom for weight inserts.
Rope stake loops are also placed into the skirting every 5' along the bottom.

HH-66 VINYL FABRIC Joint / Patch Kit
Strips of vinyl can be glued to panels to permanentaly join RV skirting panels together. Minor holes and tears can
also easily be repaired in your Vinyl RV Skirting fabric with HH-66 Vinyl Fabric Joint / Patch Kit. This patch kits comes
with one 32 oz. can of HH-66 Vinyl Adhesive and 15 square feet of cut strips of 18oz vinyl fabric in your choice of black,
white, gray, or tan.
Using the HH66 vinyl joint/patch kit, Zipper splices can also be glued to individual panels so the panels can be
separated (unzipped) if desired.
HH-66 vinyl cement is easily and quickly applied. This cement provides a fast drying and exceptionally strong
bond to all types of vinyl coated fabrics. It can also be used for sealing or waterproofing seams.

Vinyl Zipper Splice / Glue in
Two separate panels can be joined together with the VINYL ZIPPER SPLICE so that they can be separated if desired. A zipper
splice is also great for adding a zippered door access into 5th wheel nose skirts. Each Vinyl Zipper Splice comes pre-sewn
with #10, heavy duty, separating zipper. Zipper splices are glued into the panel at the desired location and require the purchase
of the HH-66 Vinyl Fabric Joint / Patch Kit to install.
