Double Filled Canvas

All our tents are made of 12.63 oz. double fill, untreated or treated canvas. Double fill means that single wrap yarns are interwoven with 2 fill yarns. This process makes an extremely strong and water resistant fabric. Our canvas does not allow water to pass through, but air does pass through the fibers. This ability to breathe make canvas a very comfortable shelter.

Thread and Sewing

Our tents are sewn with the finest thread which swells when wet to make a water tight stitch. All seams are sewn flat with a double stitch for lasting strength.

Zippers

We use only the heaviest industrial plastic zippers avaiable.

Grommets

All our brass grommets are machine set. Brass resists corrosion and machine setting means that grommets will have a smooth finish in the fabric and will stay put for years.

Rope

Our guy lines are made of unmanila rope for lasting strength.
